No. 25 Sleeping Child 3 – Time Lapse Watercolour Sketch

This is the third in my series of “Sleeping Child” sketches. This one is from a very old photo of my daughter. Some years ago I did a pastel painting from this photo and it still hangs in my bedroom. Babies and children are definitely my favourite subjects for portraits and when I think back they always have been. Ever since I first drew “recognizable” (well to me anyway!) figures. I was an only child whose school was quite a distance away and there were no other children living around me, so no playmates close by. To pass my time I was always drawing my longed for brothers and sisters. I was never ever bored and could always find things to do. I consider myself very blessed, as I had a very happy childhood engaging in art and crafts and this passion for art and making things grew up and flourished as I grew and has remained with me forever.

Happy Painting until next Sunday at 1530!
As always please “like”, “share”and “subscribe” if you like my little sketches. Thank you.
